1. General Information; Commitment; Applicability
Survey Sampling International, LLC ("SSI") offers a real-time survey intelligence service designed to: (i) speed up the delivery of market research, (ii) reduce the cost of acquiring market research feedback, and (iii) directly provide decision makers with actionable market research intelligence ("SSI’s QuickTake Services"). SSI’s QuickTake Services include, without limitation, SSI’s QuickTake do-it-yourself survey tool that allows customers to create individualized surveys, transmit surveys to survey panels powered by SSI, and access, review, and export survey responses, results, and information. All references in this Privacy Policy to "SSI" include, without limitation, all parent, subsidiary, and affiliate entities of SSI.
This Privacy Policy covers http://www.quicktake.com/ (the "Website") and all Information (as defined herein) disclosed to, or collected by, SSI in connection with: (i) the Website, (ii) ancillary websites created in connection with the Website (the Website and ancillary websites shall collectively be referred to as the "Website"), (iii) SSI’s QuickTake Services, and (iv) registration for an account with the Website
2. Types of Information Collected; Collection Process; Data Storage
As used in this Privacy Policy, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (i) "Financial Information" means a credit card number, expiration date and related verification information; (ii) "Information" means Personal Information (as defined herein) and Financial Information; (iii) "Personal Information" includes, without limitation, first and last name, email address, residential address, telephone number(s), and account access information (i.e. user id and password); and (iv) "you" or "your" means the individual or business entity who registers for an account with the Website, who accesses and/or uses the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, and/or discloses Information to SSI in connection with the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services.
SSI may collect Personal Information when an individual or entity registers for an account with the Website. In connection with registration, except as set forth below, SSI will issue the individual or entity a user id and password. For commercial level accounts, an individual may sign into the Website using account access information (i.e. user id and password) for another website (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc.). When the individual signs into the Website via account access information for another website, SSI will not collect or receive any account access information; the other website will verify the individual’s account and transfer to SSI only the information the individual has authorized the other website to transfer to third parties. When a business registers for an enterprise level account, SSI may collect information from or about the business entity (e.g. legal name, business address, business phone number, etc.) and may collect Personal Information of or about the users of the business entity’s account.
Personal Information may be collected from you at any time after registration with the Website; and before, during, and after use of, and/or access to the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services.
You represent and warrant to SSI that all Personal Information disclosed or provided to SSI is disclosed or provided in accordance with: (i) all consents, authorizations, and approvals of the applicable data subjects; (ii) any and all applicable privacy statements, policies, disclosures, and/or notices; and (iii) applicable international, national, Federal, state, and/or local laws, regulations, rules, codes, and/or requirements.
SSI collects Financial Information when an order is placed for SSI’s QuickTake Services.
All Information collected or received by SSI is stored in the United States (“US”). By registering for an account with the Website, accessing and/or using the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, or disclosing Information to SSI in connection with the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, you hereby expressly consent to SSI’s collection of Information and storage of Information in the US.
3. Uses of Information
SSI does not use Personal Information for direct marketing or advertising purposes. SSI uses Personal Information to: (i) communicate with you regarding your account with the Website; (ii) communicate with you regarding your access to and use of the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, including the processing of orders for SSI’s QuickTake Services; (iii) provide you with information on or about the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services; (iv) comply with legal obligations; and/or (v) as otherwise permitted pursuant to this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by you.
SSI uses Financial Information only to process orders for SSI’s QuickTake Services. After processing an order for SSI’s QuickTake Services, SSI only uses and stores the last four (4) digits of the credit card number used to pay for SSI’s QuickTake Services.
SSI’s primary means of communication with you is via email. By disclosing your email address, you hereby expressly consent to receive email communications from SSI, including, without limitation, email communications regarding your account with the Website; your use of and/or access to the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, including, without limitation, the processing of orders for SSI’s QuickTake Services; and any notice required to be provided hereunder. SSI does not send unsolicited commercial emails.
By registering for an account with the Website, accessing and/or using the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, or disclosing Information to SSI in connection with the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, you hereby expressly consent to SSI’s uses of Information as set forth in this Section 3.
4. Onward Transfers and Disclosures of Information
SSI does not sell or license your Information. SSI does not disclose or transfer Information to third parties except as follows:
- To authorized agents, vendors, subcontractors, and/or service providers who require access to the Information in order to provide services to SSI in connection with the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services (individually a “Subcontractor” and collectively “Subcontractors”). Prior to the disclosure or transfer of Information, SSI requires the Subcontractor to enter into a written agreement: (1) restricting the Subcontractor’s use of Information for only the purpose of providing services to SSI in connection with the Website and SSI’s QuickTake Services, and (2) requiring the Subcontractor to ensure the security and confidentiality of the Information.
- As required by applicable laws and codes, or a valid court or governmental order or subpoena.
- To protect the safety of an individual or to protect SSI’s rights and/or property.
- To a parent, affiliate or subsidiary of SSI: (1) in the event of a reorganization or restructuring; or (2) for use and processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by you.
- If you sign up for an account with the Website using a business email account (i.e. an email account given by a business to its employees and/or contractors) and the business issuing the email account has signed up, or does sign up, for an account with SSI, SSI may notify the business that you have an account, to enable you to receive, and take advantage of, the benefits offered to the business.
- In connection with a change of ownership or control, including, without limitation, a merger or an acquisition or a sale of any or all of SSI’s business assets (“Business Transaction”). In the event of a Business Transaction, which includes the transfer of Information, SSI shall require the other party (e.g. the surviving or resulting entity in a merger, or the acquiring entity in an acquisition) to agree in writing to protect and maintain the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the transferred Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- As otherwise permitted pursuant to this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by you.
By registering for an account with the Website, accessing and/or using the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, or disclosing Information to SSI in connection with the Website and/or SSI’s QuickTake Services, you hereby expressly consent to the transfers or disclosures set forth in this Section 4.
5. Data Security
SSI maintains commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect and secure Information. SSI reviews, monitors, and evaluates its privacy practices and protection systems on a regular basis. For online collection and processing of Financial Information and/or sensitive Personal Information, SSI uses commercially reasonable encryption methods (e.g. secure socket layer technology, etc.) to protect and secure the Financial Information and/or sensitive Personal Information during online collection and processing. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you acknowledge that transmissions over the Internet are never one hundred percent (100%) secure or error free and SSI does not and cannot guarantee the security of online transmissions.
6. Children’s Privacy Protection
The Website is not intended for, and is not directed towards, children under the age of thirteen (13). The Website is intended for individuals over the age of eighteen (18). SSI does not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen (13) and SSI requests that individuals under the age of thirteen (13) not submit any Personal Information on or to the Website and not use SSI’s QuickTake Services.

No Personal Information is stored within, or collected by, any of SSI’s cookies. The Website automatically gathers certain information, which is stored in log files. SSI may provide you with the ability to voluntarily link or connect to websites maintained and/or operated by third parties ("Third Party Websites"). SSI neither endorses the Third Party Websites nor the products, services, surveys, and/or opportunities advertised, offered, and/or sold by, through or in connection with the Third Party Websites ("Third Party Content"). SSI is not responsible for the policies and/or practices of the Third Party Websites or for Third Party Content. SSI does not make any representations or warranties about the Third Party Websites and/or the Third Party Content. Please carefully review all policies and terms of use applicable to the Third Party Websites and Third Party Content.
9. Rights Pertaining to Information
You may access your Information in order to review, correct, or delete Information by sending an email request to privacy@surveysampling.com. When contacting SSI via email include your full name and the specific request. SSI shall respond to requests for access to Information within thirty (30) days of receipt of a request.
Upon the termination of your account with the Website, SSI may retain your Personal Information in accordance with its obligations under this Privacy Policy or in accordance with applicable laws and codes.
